		GUEST SPEAKER FOR OUR MEETING
	Larry Shudak will discuss internet and other related signaling methods for fire alarm systems. Mr. Shudak will cover IP transmission technologies and DACTs using MFVNs. He will explain how these technologies work, how they differ from one another, how they meet NFPA 72 requirements and they achieve UL Listing. Larry Shudak is UL's Principal Engineer for commercial/industrial fire control systems, including off-premise signaling equipment, mass notification systems, and residential fire and security control systems. Mr. Shudak is also a member of several NFPA technical committees, including the Protected Premise and Technical Correlating Committees for NFPA 72, Building Service and Fire protection Equipment for NFPA 101/5000, and Smoke Management for NFPA 92/204. He has been with UL over 35 years, all in the Life Safety and Security area.
